Synopsis
Henrique is a naval officer who goes to sea; Beatriz looks after their six children at home, until one day she dies. Their eldest son Jacinto — who since childhood dreamed of turning into a bird — is the director's own father. A deeply personal essay film weaving family letters, photographs and recordings into a poetic meditation on memory, loss and the bonds between generations.
