Synopsis
An immigrant mother calls her son to help carry the groceries home through a peripheral neighbourhood of Lisbon. Along their slow walk, they talk about the future through the past, circling back through disagreements, disillusionments, and unresolved resentments. Spoken largely in Guinea-Bissau Creole, the film was selected for the La Cinef section of Cannes.
