Synopsis
An unemployed alcoholic becomes entangled in a network of prostitution and human trafficking operating in Portugal after he tries to help a young woman from Eastern Europe. What begins as an impulse to do good plunges him into a dangerous underworld, where violent events force him to confront himself. The film uses this brutal journey as an allegory for desperation, exploitation, and the fragile possibility of redemption.
