Synopsis
Inside a car travelling at night along Portuguese roads in the 1950s, a conversation unfolds about the identity of a group of men captured and killed in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. Inspired by a story by Jorge de Sena, the film is a drawn-animation meditation on memory, politics, and the erasure of those who fought on the losing side of history. The first Portuguese animated film selected for Critics' Week at Cannes.
