Synopsis
Through the voices of popular poets, filmmaker Mónica Martins Nunes builds a touching portrait of Serra de Serpa, an arid region in southern Portugal ravaged by rural exodus and industrial agriculture. Getting closer to the figure of her deceased grandfather — to whom the film is dedicated — she discovers the last inhabitants of a landscape once divided into parcels called sortes.
